A birthday party of sorts. Winnipeg-based singer songwriter, JP Hoe, is inviting the shy and the bold to come and share their voice in celebration of the city’s 150th birthday; under the Winnipeg Art Council’s "City Of Song" banner.
An evening under the fairytale-esque dome of the Union Station rotunda, the JP Hoe string trio will present a unique 3 part concert; gradually inviting more and more audience members to sing along throughout the program, and finishing with a set of universally loved songs - lyrics provided.
The planned finale, will either draw a “Wow!” or a “Whoa?!” from attendees, but as JP says, "that’s the fun of inserting humans into a unique living art piece."
