Winnipeg - One Great Chorus is a multi-generational choral concert organized by The Stradbrook Avenue Show Choir in celebration of Winnipeg’s 150th birthday. Six choirs (including Nurses Choir, Bison Men’s Chorus, Winnipeg Boys’ Choir, Due North Voices, and Women of Note) will sing a new piece by local composer Matt Neufeld and other musical memories which showcase Winnipeg’s musical history. Each choir will sing two or three songs independently, audience sing alongs will focus on fun Winnipeg and area historical songs, and the concert will conclude with Matt Neufeld's new City of Song composition sung by all of the choirs. Funding from City of Song, Winnipeg Arts Council and Manitoba Choral Association.
Advance tickets are $15; $20 at the door. Children Under Twelve are always free.
